Environmental Protection

A custom made splash cover for the Iconix HD RH-1 Camera Head. Provides environmental protection for shooting in the field.

The removable Porta Brace shade has a form fitting plastic material, which you can bend and shape to fit, making it more difficult for rain to reach the lens. The series of zipper slides at the base allows you to quickly and easily cover the camera even with large batteries and wireless microphones. It works on the tripod or on your shoulder and access is made easy with clear vinyl windows, flaps and zippered openings. The material is a special combination of two fabrics and two types of waterproofing. (Many Custom Patterns have been developed for “Box style” sports lenses.

The DR105 fits on lenses with external diameter up to 105mm and covers wide-angle lenses with up to 85 degrees of horizontal field angle.

The Spintec Rain Deflector Kit includes:

* Front and rear lens cap

The unit operates via a 12 volt power supply directly off the camera battery.

The camera rain cover which is included with the Kit will cover any type of broadcast camera, including OB (studio) cameras.
